Unclaimed Prizes. Do these millions belong to you sir?
The UK National Lottery has a page on their website dedicated to unclaimed prizes. The very fact that this page exists means that somebody thought that it was worth writing a whole page about it. So it must be a real issue then. Surely, if all these people who had bought tickets and had now unknowingly won a prize thought that it was important to check their lottery numbers, they would have already done so and the unclaimed prizes page would be empty wouldn’t it? Avoid joining the ranks and becoming a victim of
unclaimed prizes.
You’ve gone through all the trouble of deciding to play the lottery, reading this website for some great advice on how to choose a great set of numbers, you’ve spent your hard-earned money on buying a ticket and waited patiently for the draw. You even go as far as winning. But you forgot to check the results. Aaarghhh! No matter however. There are a few ways round this. If you cannot check the results yourself, ask someone or something to check lottery numbers for you. Huh? “Something”? Arrange for results to be emailed directly to you for instance. For example, if you play in a good online syndicate, the results will be automatically checked for you and you will receive an email or a text message which will alert you to the good news. The unclaimed lottery prizes saga. I’m not sure how to fee about this situation. Jealous? Angry? Upset? Sad? What an awful waste of good lottery wins! Or is it? There is usually a time limit allowed for prizes to be claimed. After this period expires, the money is sent off to be used for good causes by many worthwhile organisations. So all’s well that ends well then, yes?
